The year 2020 marks the centennial of the birth of Gianni Rodari, one of the most innovative children’s authors and the first Italian to win the prestigious Hans Christian Andersen Award in 1970. The Embassy of Italy and the Italian Cultural Institute in Jakarta will honor the anniversary with the exhibition of illustrations for Gianni Rodari created by Bologna Children’s Book Fair e Regione Emilia-Romagna. Moreover, we will also launch a series of podcast taken from Gianni Rodari's works translated in Indonesian on the occasion of the Indonesia's International Storytelling Festival in collaboration with the community Ayo Dongeng Indonesia.
