Opening Solo Exhibition “A New Life”
& Live Painting L’Anima (The Soul) by Giorgio Sciarretta
After the National preview of his solo Exhibition in the most important street of the Artist in Rome, in Via Margutta in the Area Contesa Arte, where he was awarded as the Artist of The month, Sciarretta Sciarretta will be in Jakarta for the new exhibition.
Only, and exclusively, for the Italian Cultural Institute, Jakarta, Sciarretta will exhibit his last paintings and artworks, which previously exhibited in Singapore, Italy and Hong Kong), created in Indonesia and Italy. This exhibition, entitled “A New Life”, underlines the meaning of the connection between Italy and Indonesia, where Sciaretta is based since 1997 with his Indonesian wife.
On the night of the opening, Sciarretta will perform a live painting of his artwork entitled “L’anima” (The Soul). During the exhibition within the premises of the Italian Cultural Institute, which is on view from the August 9 to October 10, 2017, there are more than 45 paintings and artworks and some of which are shown for the very first time in public. Mini performance of Duo MegaMauro
During the Art Stage Jakarta Week the night of the 10th August is dedicated to the ART STAGE Indonesian Art Award 2017. The Itali-Indo Duo Mega Mauro, consists of Mega Sihombing (vocal) and Mauro Goia (pianist) will present their mini performance. The event is by invitation only.

Solo Guitar Performance by Giordano Passini
Giordano Passini, was born in 1986 and started to study music at 12. He started with piano and after a year passed to classical guitar. He studied in many conservatories, from the one in Frosinone to the Conservatory of Santa Cecilia in Rome. He has held concerts at various Institution, Festival and Musical Events in Italy and abroad. He plays a guitar made by the Neapolitan guitar maker Alessandro Marseglia. ( by invitation only )

Art Talk by Giorgio Sciarretta “L’Anima” (The Soul)
On the occasion of the Art Stage Jakarta 2017, not to be missed the opportunity to get up close and personal with the artist, Giorgio Sciarretta, during Art Talk on August 12, 2017 in Sheraton Grand Jakarta Gandaria City.
Giorgio Sciarretta is an Italian painter who has been painting since he was little, his artworks includes oil on canvas, acrylics on canvas, gesso primer, acrylic, spray paints, sometimes wax, on carton and plastic board. As one of the most innovative modern art painter he continues to innovate new styles and techniques. Giorgio passed a lot of time with Sante Monachesi when he was a kid, and learned a lot from him and developed his skill eversince. Painting and drawing has been something he does every night ever since he was awaken from a coma, when he was 7 years old.
