Dolorosa Sinaga is a renowned Indonesian artist born in Sumatra. She graduated from Jakarta Institute of the Arts and completed Post Graduate Program at St. Martin’s School of Art, London. She studied many times abroad, participated in several International Art Exhibitions, Sculpture Symposiums, Workshops, Conferences and Seminars. In 2000 she was invited to build a Site Specific Art Work in Chianti International Contemporary Sculpture Park in Chianti and again six years later she was invited to participate in the “Contemporary Indonesian Sculptors Exhibition” at the Chianti Sculpture Park Gallery, in Pievasciata, Siena.
