An evening with Spellbound collects a list of successful choreographies presented in Italian and international theatres. The different pieces suggest themes that develop around known and mysterious stories that speak with the choreographic language of Mauro Astolfi showing the different facets of his creativity. This simple but effective format has allowed in recent years to build specific programs adapting according to the country and festival hosting a list of small cameos mixed with more ‘choral creations to present to different audiences the best of our recent productions as well as the ensemble to the maximum of its interpretation. In this evening, conceived for the Asian tour at the end of 2018, we have chosen to dedicate the final part of the program to the famous composer Gioachino Rossini, who Spellbound paid homage to with a successful creation produced in 2018 on commission and co-production of the Municipality of Pesaro as part of the Official Celebrations of the Rossini Centenaries. The closing of this program with excerpts from the successful creation “Rossini Ouvertures” is made possible thanks to the contribution of SIAE SILLUMINA in the project “Sillumina – Private copy for young people, for culture”. The Embassy of Italy and the Italian Cultural Institute in collaboration with Namarina Youth Dance organize two days workshop conducted by Spellbound with the final presentation as the Opening Act.
