Beneath the stars at Villa Melati, the magnificent private estate of Michelle and Raj Kannan, just twenty patrons will gather with some of the world’s most celebrated writers, artists and cultural thinkers for an evening of exceptional food, generous company and unforgettable exchange. Hosted by Festival Founder and Director Janet DeNeefe and Yayasan Mudra Swari Saraswati Chair Dr I Ketut Suardana, the evening brings together guests including Kiran Desai, Katie Kitamura, Peter and Georgina Godwin, Prabal Gurung, Ali Sethi, Tari Lang and Ketut Yuliarsa. For one evening, they step away from the stage and take their place beside you. The evening’s three-course feast is created by Kieran Morland of Sangsaka, whose thoughtful, produce-driven cooking has helped redefine contemporary Indonesian dining. Paired with exceptional wines and cocktails, the menu celebrates the richness and diversity of the Indonesian archipelago. The estate itself will be transformed by Janice Ripley and Bloomz Decor Bali, who will weave magic into every corner of the evening.
