Film archive may not sound as common as other film processes when it comes to film production or film industry. Yet, it plays an important role in tracing one’s artwork, shows the growth of its industry at a certain era and appreciates the history to learn for future improvement.
In that light, 100% DIY is back this year with film workshops on film archiving where it opens to the public, film aficionados and specifically film students for free of charge. Supported by the Istituto Italiano di Cultura Jakarta and Italian embassy, learn first hand knowledge from Italian film experts: Miriam Antognazza (producer & film archivist) & Maurizio Fantoni Minnella (documentary filmmaker). Registration in advance is necessary to ensure your seat as the class capacity will be limited.
