Maddalena Cecconi and Spartaco live in Prenestino, Italy, with their 8-year-old daughter Maria. When a film company hold an audition for a new movie, Maddalena decides to submit her daughter. With all her might, Maddalena tried to enroll Maria, even by hiring a service from a con man, just to get a lucrative movie contract for Maria from the film director.
