The Italian Cultural Institute Jakarta will be the first one to initiate the Progetto Maestri, an initiative of the MAECI with the aim of promoting Italian excellence abroad in the field of musical direction. The initiative will be launched thanks to the participation of the worldwide infamous conductor, Beatrice Venezi, who will be hosted by the music school Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Negeri 2 Kasihan in Yogyakarta.
Maestro Venezi will direct 56 musicians of the SMM Orchestra for the grand concert that will take place on the 4th of September 2023 at the main Auditorium of the school.
During her stay in Yogyakarta, Maestro Venezi will hold not only orchestral masterclass but also conducting masterclass for the students and the teachers of the school.
