Speaker: Geia Laconi
Ancestors live on through blood, land, and memory, leaving traces that surface in unexpected ways. Even when we move far away, our histories still call to us. For some writers, this pull becomes a doorway into the mystical, a path that beckons towards the unknown. For authors Raoul de Jong and Geia Laconi, following these paths has led to stories where memory and myth, history and imagination, and the human and the more-than-human intertwine. John H. McGlynn joins them for a fascinating conversation about writing through ancestry, finding magic in the mundane, and the mysterious ways the past reaches into the present.
